How it works

Three steps, once.

  1. 01

    You choose the wood and tell us what to engrave

    Name, job title or company. If you have a logo, you upload it on the product page and we send you a proof before engraving.

  2. 02

    We engrave the card and program it

    We engrave in our own workshop and write your address into the card. We engrave and ship within 5 working days.

  3. 03

    You tap it on the other person’s phone

    Their phone opens your profile, with no app. Phones without NFC read the QR code engraved on the card.

The address written into the card stays the same for the life of the card. Where it leads, you can change at any time — when your number, job title or company changes, you reprint nothing.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask us

Do I need an app for it to work?
No. On iPhone XS and newer and on Android phones with NFC, the card is read directly: hold it near the phone and the link appears. On phones without NFC, the QR code engraved on the card works.
Can I change the details after I receive the card?
Yes. The address written into the card stays the same, but we can change the page it leads to at any time, at your request. The card is not rewritten and not re-engraved.
How soon do I get the card?
We engrave and ship within 5 working days of confirming the engraving. Delivery anywhere in the EU is €9.90 by courier, with GLS or DPD.
Which woods do you have?
Linden, bamboo and beech, and maple, walnut and sapele. The price is shown on each product page and includes the engraving and VAT. Every piece of wood has its own grain, so no two cards are identical.
Can I put my company logo on the card?
Yes. You upload it on the product page, under “Logo engraved on the card”. SVG, PDF, AI or EPS engrave best. We send you a proof by email before we engrave.
Can I return it?
The card is engraved to order with your own details, so it falls outside the 14-day right of withdrawal, like any personalised product (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(c)). If we got the engraving wrong or the card arrives faulty, we replace it at our expense. The details are in the refund policy.
